Great Commission Training

Saturday, September 21, 2019

When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” – Jesus (Matthew 9:36—38 ESV)

Over 50% of the residents of Wilson County list no religious affiliation. Laborers are needed for our local harvest!  Come learn the why, who, what and when of sharing the gospel and making disciples! Get hands-on training out in the harvest as part of a team with an experienced leader.

Pastor Ross Ramsey and his team from First Baptist Church Allen,TX will lead the training. They have trained hundreds at their church plus many more from other churches. FBC Allen has had over 20,000 gospel conversations in Allen in just the past 2 ½ years with many coming to faith and simple, reproducible discipleship groups forming both in the church and in the community!

This training is available for ages 6th grade and up, though younger children accompanied by a parent may attend. Nursery will be provided if at least one week prior notice is given. Lunch is included. Look for sign ups online or in the Welcome Center.

An additional training on how to best follow up with new believers or those who are open but not yet ready to respond will be provided on Friday, September 20th from 6 PM – 8 PM. See Benji Thomas for more information.
